Accessibility Statement
Last updated: April 18, 2026
Animedic LLC is committed to making animedic.app usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We treat digital accessibility as a core part of product quality, not a one-time audit.
1. Standards we aim for
We design and build the Site with the goal of meeting the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. We also strive to comply with applicable U.S. accessibility laws, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 508 where relevant, and state-level accessibility requirements.
2. What we've built for accessibility
- Keyboard navigation. All interactive controls are reachable and operable with a keyboard, with visible focus rings in brand color.
- Skip link. A skip-to-main-content link is available on every page for screen-reader and keyboard users.
- Semantic markup. Headings follow a logical outline; landmarks (header, main, footer, nav) are used throughout; form fields have associated labels.
- Color contrast. Text and essential UI meet WCAG AA contrast in both dark and light modes.
- Reduced motion. Animations and the custom cursor are disabled automatically for users who prefer reduced motion at the operating-system level.
- Images and icons. Decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technologies; meaningful icons include text labels.
- Responsive design. The Site is usable at text sizes up to 200% and on screens as narrow as 320 pixels.
- Forms. Validation errors are announced and associated with the fields they describe.
3. Known limitations
Despite our best efforts, some content or components may not yet meet the standards we aim for. If you encounter an accessibility issue while using the Site, please tell us (see below) and we will prioritize a fix.
4. Assistive technologies we test with
We test with recent versions of VoiceOver on macOS and iOS, NVDA and JAWS on Windows, TalkBack on Android, Safari / Chrome / Firefox / Edge, and keyboard-only navigation. Any combination not listed may reveal issues — we welcome reports.
5. Feedback and requests for assistance
If any part of the Site is inaccessible to you, please use our contact page to report the issue. Include the page URL, the assistive technology you're using, and a description of the problem. We aim to respond within five (5) business days and to resolve substantive accessibility issues as quickly as possible, typically within thirty (30) days depending on scope.
If you need information from the Site in an alternative format, let us know and we will do our best to provide it at no cost.
6. Age eligibility
The Site is not directed to users under the age of 13. Nothing in this Statement modifies that.
7. Updates
This Accessibility Statement is reviewed at least annually and whenever we ship significant changes to the Site. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
